Navbars Types

As soon as you login in to Desire2Learn you will be able to see the navigation bar on the top of the page as shown in picture below.

General Navbar

The general navigation bar is located on the topmost area of the page. It consists of general items My home, MavMail, MavDisk, MSU, FAQ and Help. It is visible at all times and looks like top navigation bar in Figure 1.

Course Navbar

Once you enter a course, the navbar looks like Figure 1. The General Navbar remains same but the Navbar at the bottom is the Course Navigation bar as shown in Figure 1. It consists of course related tools such as Course Home, Content, Discussions, Classlist, Dropbox, Quizzes, Grades, Chat, Glossary and Logout. The functions of all the tools will be detailed in Course Basics section of these tutorials. See the "Course Basics" section of the navbar to the left.
