Question Library

Question Library is the area where you can add and organize the questions for surveys or quizzes. However you cannot access the Quiz Question Library from the Survey area or vice-versa. To access the Question Library from either the Quiz area or the Survey area, click the Question Library icon. On the left hand side of the screen you will see a list of the Question Library section folders that are available.. A few of tools included in the Question Library are as follows:

Hide or View the library section folders

Change Display Options

Create New Section

Create Question

Import Question

Move, Delete or Order Question

Edit values of Question

View/Edit Questions

Edit Section Folder

Note: It is highly recommended that you create all of your quizzes and save it to the question library for easy re-usage for various quizzes and creating random sections within quizzes.

Creating New Section Folder

Within the question library you can organize your quiz or survey questions into sections folders. Sections can be created from within the Question Library or while creating a quiz or survey. To create a new section folder while creating a quiz or survey, click the Layout/Questions tab and then click the Add/Edit Questions button. Both areas have the identical functionality; one creates folders within the Question Library, the other creates questions within a quiz or survey. Follow the steps below:

Select Section from the dropdown menu next to Create New . Click Go. You should be able to see a list of items of questions you can create.
Click on "Section" which should bring you to section Figure 2. You can also add a private message or upload a image if you like.
Type the title on Section Name field.
Enter the Optional message as an introduction to the students in the Message field.
Click the Save button.
You may now add questions to a sections . Refer to the Question Type section of this tutorial for instructions on how to create each type of question.

Note: To create a section folder in the Question Library, Click on Question Library and follow the same instructions as above.
