My Homepage

My homepage allows you to set up a link to your website. Your webpage can be shared with your peers in the course and can be edited any time. You can either create your homepage using D2L HTML editor or upload an existing homepage.

Create New Homepage
  1. In the Welcome Box on the My Home screen, click My Homepage.  The My Homepage box appears.  Refer to Figure 1.
  2. Click the New icon.  A new file window will appear.
  3. Enter the filename for your homepage and click the Create button.
  4. Once the file is created you have the following options:
    1. View: View you homepage by clicking on the filename in the list.
    2. Edit: Edit the homepage by clicking on the Edit icon.
    3. Rename: Rename the file by clicking the icon beside the filename.
    4. Delete: Delete the file by clicking the Delete icon.
    5. Homepage Sharing: You must share the homepage by clicking on the icon for others to be able to view it.
  5. Click the back button to go back to my home.
Upload Existing Page
  1. In the Welcome Box on the My Home screen, click My Homepage.  The My Homepage box appears.  Refer to Figure 1.
  2. Click the Upload icon.  An upload file window will appear.
  3. Browse to the file that you want to upload.  Click the upload button.
  4. Once you have uploaded your homepage, you have following options:
    1. View: View you homepage by clicking on the filename in the list.
    2. Edit: Edit the homepage by clicking on the Edit icon.
    3. Rename: Rename the file by clicking the icon beside the filename.
    4. Delete: Delete the file by clicking the Delete icon.
    5. Homepage Sharing: You must share the homepage by clicking on the icon for others to be able to view it.
  5. Click the back button to go back to my home.
